Art doesn’t face segregation from the rest of our lives. The music that we listen to, the books we read, the paintings we love, are all a direct influence on the perception of a scene and its transference through the lens and back to a tangible memory.
My favorite scenes, both in photography and my paintings, are places where you feel as if you have walked into a landscape or onto a stage. Being a writer as well as an artist, I have titled my paintings as if the character residing in each piece has just left the room but in actuality, the main character is you, the viewer of the work.
Please let me know if you prefer a unique size. Although 8.5x11 and 13x19 are my sizes of choice, I can accommodate special orders at no extra charge.
Would you like to see the work in person? GALLERY NINE • connie dillon fine art is an intimate gallery on the 2nd floor of The Carlin building at 2503 Montana Avenue, the prime art hub of downtown Billings. It has high ceilings, wood floors and lots of light and glorifies the era, 1910, in which it was built. We are open for ArtWalk, First Fine Art Fridays, special gatherings and by appointment, @ 406.697.0225.
My line of greeting cards, card.again designs, perfect when you want to add a personal touch to your correspondence, are also included here. These are blank cards, each one individually signed and titled, made to your special order.
